Credit-Line Option

Open a credit account with Skyblack Rentals to finance construction equipment rentals.

The Credit-Line option allows our new customers to open a credit account with Skyblack after filling out a Credit Application. That way, you can pay after the job is done and according to the credit we award to your company.

This is the option we recommend for customers that manage job sites, construction projects, or any other project that requires equipment often.

Step 1: Quote Equipment

Browse our equipment catalog, add machines to a quote cart, and request the quote. Our team will contact you in less than 1 hour.  Alternatively, contact us with your specific needs.

Step 2: Open a Credit Account

Open a Credit Account with Skyblack Rentals. You can do it online, or you can download the document, fill it out, and send it to  support@skyblackrentals.com.

Feel free to browse our equipment first, though!

Step 3: Confirm the Job

You will receive the quote via the email you provided. You’re free to specify as many extra details as you’d need to your contact point. And after you confirm the job, Skyblack Rentals will schedule the equipment.  You may also need to sign additional papers online.

Sign a contract and pay before-hand in multiple methods.

Take this option if you don’t plan to rent again soon, if your company does not have sufficient record, if you’re not interested in credit, or if you plan to buy equipment.

Choose what you want and let our team guide you. You will need to sign a contract for your rental, purchase, or services; then, you’d have to pay before the job starts.

Step 3: Sign and Pay

Lastly, sign the contract provided by SkyBlack, which you can sign personally or online via our online services. You must also sign our Card Payment Authorization Form for validation and security purposes, also online. Filling out the form automatically opens a Cash Account for you or your company. 

Then, pay online through a QuickBooks link (via debit card, credit card, or bank wire), or visit our branch to pay.

  • The sheet tells us about the project's name, address, and general contractors.
  • This is a security messure for bigger construction projects
  • Filling out the sheet takes 2 minutes!

Depending on the type of project you're working on, we might ask you to fill out a job-site information sheet.

Who can open a credit account?

Any company with a sufficient and positive credit record can open a credit account with us. Our team will review it and award a line, or deny it. 

Decision makers within the company can open and sign the credit application.

How can I make a payment to Skyblack Rentals?

You can pay with credit card, debit card, bank wire, bank deposit, or check. You can do so online through the payment links we’ll send you timely, or through the Customer Portal.

What can you rent on Skyblack Rentals?

You can rent heavy, compact, and small equipment with Skyblack Rentals. You can buy used equipment; and you can service, maintain, or repair equipment.

If you’re a credit customer, you must pay the invoice within the limit of the credit line we assign, typically within 30 to 60 days after we pickup the machine.

What can you buy on Skyblack Rentals?

You can rent heavy, compact, and small equipment with Skyblack Rentals. You can buy used equipment; and you can service, maintain, or repair equipment.

If you’re a credit customer, you must pay the invoice within the limit of the credit line we assign, typically within 30 to 60 days after we pickup the machine.

When do I need to pay Skyblack Rentals invoices?

If you’re an “upfront” customer, you must pay the invoice before we deliver the machine. You may receive a final invoice after we pickup the machine with extra charges.

If you’re a credit customer, you must pay the invoice within the limit of the credit line we assign, typically within 30 to 60 days after we pickup the machine.

What are the rates of a rental?

Rentals have the following rates included in the quote and initial invoice: 

  • The rental rate (either daily, weekly, or monthly rates)
  • The Rental Protection Plan (a 15% of the rental rate to cover fire, theft, flooding, and others. We don’t charge it if you provide a COI)
  • The environmental rate (3% of the rental rate, but we don’t charge it on electric machines)
  • Sales taxes (8.25% of the rental rate, unless you provide a tax-exempt form)
  • Hauling (the rate of the pick-up and the rate of the delivery, which depends on machine weight and distance and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
  • Processing fee (3.5% of the total after taxes, in case you’re paying with a credit or debit card).

Extra charges may appear on an invoice after the fact: 

  • Dry runs: the hauling charge if we can’t deliver or pick up the machine due to client error or miscommunication.
  • Damages: the repair cost of operator misuse, in case we find it.
  • Refueling: $8.5/gallon of refueling if you don’t return the machine with as much fuel as it had when you found it.
  • DEF refueling: 20$ / gallon to re-stock Diesel Exhaust Fuel.
  • Missing keys: $20 if the customer loses the equipment or machine key.
  • Excess use: if you go above the rental period without properly communicating it to us, we charge the excess use with our daily rate.
When does the rental period starts and ends?

We charge for daily, weekly, and monthly rates:

A day is 8 business hours

A week is 40 business hours, or 5 business days

A month is 160 business hours or 20 business days (about 28 days)

We will evaluate the machine’s use after we pick up the machine and, if we find your usage is significantly more than what you paid for, we will charge you accordingly. We’re quite flexible, though, and this rarely happens.

Your rental period ends when the agreed business days/hours end. We’ll contact you when the period is about to end to “call off” the machine, and you can contact us to call if off as well.

If you do not contact us, or if you do not answer our calls or emails to call-off the machine, we assume that you’re extending the rental, and we’ll charge you properly at daily rates.

Lastly, the rental period starts the moment we deliver the machine, which should be at the hour and date you request the machine.

Who can rent?

Our service is intended for contractor companies, production companies, events, and other organization-backed projects.

Company representatives can rent in the name of the company provided that they can give us the company’s billing address and name. 

If a regular person wants to rent, it will be evaluated in a case-by-case basis
